Shandong Xinchuan Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 2023 and is located at No. 55 Gushan Road, Economic and Technological Development Zone, Weihai City, Shandong Province. The company primarily undertakes the manufacturing of steel products for industries including shipbuilding, power generation, mining, metallurgy, petrochemicals, and cement. With annual sales revenue reaching 200 million yuan, it is currently one of the largest enterprises engaged in this industry on the Jiaodong Peninsula.

The company occupies an area of approximately 90,000 square meters, with standard factory buildings covering about 30,000 square meters and a sandblasting and coating workshop spanning 6,000 square meters. Currently, the company employs 500 workers. It is fully equipped with advanced machinery, including large CNC plasma cutting machines, laser cutting machines, plate rolling machines, CNC bending machines, combined punching and shearing machines, pipe-bending machines, shearing machines, as well as lathes, planers, milling machines, and grinding machines. The company also has 30 cranes with capacities of 10 tons, 20 tons, 50 tons, 75 tons, and 150 tons.

The company has a robust quality management system and, in 2024, obtained GB/T 9001-2016/ISO9001:2015 quality management system certification. It has also achieved compliance with the EU ISO15614 standard and holds international welding qualification certificates under the ISO9606 standard, having successfully passed welding process certifications for Q235B, Q345B, B625, 700E, 316L, 2205, SPA-H, and H62 materials.

The company’s construction projects include: the fabrication of sections and outfitting components for the 7,000-vehicle car carrier, the 89,000-ton bulk carrier, and the MR tanker at Weihai Wuchuan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.; the fabrication of sections and outfitting components for container ships, bulk carriers, rock-dumping vessels, and luxury ro-ro passenger ships at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Weihai) Co., Ltd.; and the fabrication of static components such as flue gas reheaters, air preheaters, centrifugal fans, axial-flow fans, and compressor bases at Houghton-Hua Engineering Co., Ltd. All products fully meet the relevant technical requirements and quality standards.

On August 30, 2023, Shandong Xin Chuan Hai Gong Equipment Co., Ltd. was officially established in the Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone. The legal representative is Sui Wenchao, and the company’s registered capital amounts to 90 million yuan. Affiliated with Wenxin Hai Gong Equipment, the company specializes in metal structure manufacturing, marine equipment manufacturing, and coating and surface treatment services, thus embarking on a journey of deepening its expertise in the marine engineering equipment sector.

From its inception, the company has precisely seized the development opportunities presented by Weihai’s marine equipment industry cluster. Leveraging the industrial driving effect of leading shipbuilding enterprises in the region, such as Jinling and Wuhu Shipbuilding, it quickly established its position within the supply chain. At the beginning of 2024, the company’s relevant projects were successfully launched. The factory site is located just a five-minute drive from the Wuhu Shipbuilding (Weihai) Green Marine Technology Industrial Base, enabling it to efficiently provide hull section fabrication and painting services to leading enterprises in the chain and deeply integrate into the local industrial ecosystem.

In 2024, the company accelerated the construction of a high-end equipment parts production project, pursuing leapfrog development centered on "intelligent transformation and green upgrading." The project has introduced 149 sets of advanced smart equipment, including first-class domestic CNC laser cutting machines and Panasonic automatic welding machines, to build a "dark factory" led by robotic arms and featuring computer-controlled management throughout the entire process, thereby realizing a digital and intelligent transformation in ship section manufacturing. Meanwhile, in collaboration with environmental protection authorities, the company has established Shandong Province's first shared painting center for the shipbuilding industry. As a national-level "Green Island" project, this center achieves a volatile organic compound (VOC) adsorption rate of 93% and can reduce carbon emissions by 54 tons annually, setting a green benchmark for the industry.

In November 2024, the first phase of the project will be basically completed and is expected to officially begin production by the end of the month. Preparations for the second phase have also been launched, with a planned site area of over 50 mu, and construction is scheduled to start in the second half of the year. Thus far, this enterprise—established just two years ago—has already built core competitive advantages centered on “intelligent manufacturing + green and environmentally friendly practices.” Once fully operational, it is projected to annually produce 80,000 tons of offshore engineering equipment sections and outfitting components, with an annual output value reaching 1 billion yuan, making it a key driving force behind the upgrading of Weihai’s offshore engineering equipment industry.
